Peyton Street

I tested this fun Peyton Street pattern for Tammy Silvers before it was released.  Tammy did hers is bright bold colors so I did the opposite with these soft colors from the Celestial fabric line.  
 
With the soft colors, I thought the border and backing needed to stand out to frame the quilt so I used another one of the Celestial fabrics to give it a bolder look.  This quilt can be used with either side because both are a great design.
 
I did the longarm quilting myself with a fun pattern in cream thread. The thread makes a fabulous design on the background fabric without overpowering the fabric designs.
 
This quilt measures 54" x 66" so it makes a fun throw to have on the couch to watch TV or curl up in a chair with a good book. It could even be used a decor quilt across the back of a chair or couch.
 
All materials--fabric, batting, and thread--are 100% cotton and can be machine washed/dried. It's been washed with disinfectant detergent once already and is ready to be sent to it's new home.  Will it be yours?
